Fort Myers is an eclectic city. A 20-minute drive down MLK Boulevard or Colonial Avenue will take you through shopping areas, neighborhoods, and untouched patches of forest. And if you’re someone who commutes much on I-75, then you know how much variety there is on that road between here and Naples or Punta Gorda. However, a few things that don’t change in Fort Myers are wintertime traffic jams, summer rainstorms, and pot holes. It takes a car with strong suspension, agile handling, responsive acceleration, and good traction control to handle the year-round driving needs here.
